  Rude woman. Couldn't tell you anything about her ability to do alterations because she very rudely turned us down in 5 minutes flat. I'm sorry that I wasted my gas and my time on her.

  Denise was wonderful. She altered my dream dress for our Great Gatsby themed wedding celebration and I couldn’t have been happier. From restructuring the bodice and altering the hem to hand beading the overlay Denise’s skill was evident. My dress was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and I would highly recommmend her services! Thank you so much Denise!

  There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Severson Sewing is!! Aside from your usual "Bridezilla" moments-- I almost had a major meltdown. Every girl wants to find "The Perfect Wedding Dress." When shopping, I fell in love with a trumpet style gown. It was too baggy around the waist down to my knee. The sales lady that was helping me grabbed the clip pulled it tight and I was instantly in love. The seamstress came out and told me they could alter the dress no problem at all. I ordered the dress and when it finally came in I made a appointment for my fitting. I was extremely excited, as all brides usually are, only to have my heart shattered. The "chain store" refused to alter my dress. They claimed the "shape" wasn't a trumpet and told me they're under contract and can't alter the shape. Eventho it was tagged and even listed as a "trumpet" on their internet site.... they still refused. I only wanted the dress fitted to me, no change of shape whatsoever. My dream dress was now my nightmare..... I called Severson Sewing and dang near cried over the phone explaining my situation. She looked up my dress online and knew exactly what I had wanted done. After a few appointments, she had turned my gown into the gown of my dreams and I can't thank her enough! If I could give more than the 5 stars I would..... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Severson Sewing!
